Monday, February 28th, 2011

It may not sound like the most practical combination, but we’ve got to hand it to AdvanceTC — it’s shoehorned telephony into a Windows 7 tablet, fulfilling our dark desire for a spiritual successor to the xpPhone. Yes, that’s not Windows Phone 7 you’re looking at above, but rather full desktop Windows running on a [...]

Sources: iPad 2 lands in thinner body with spec bump and cameras, SD slot and higher resolution display are out

Friday, February 25th, 2011

The Apple rumors game can be a volatile thing. Motorola Xoom review

Thursday, February 24th, 2011

As we put rubber to road on our Motorola Xoom review, it’s important to note that it was only a matter of time before the Android army delivered a proper iPad competitor. Moto’s partnership with Google (and use of the 3.0 version of its mobile operating system, Honeycomb), has made that assumed inevitability a very [...]

For now, the dust has settled following Sony’s back-to-back announcements, starting with the NGP and now this past weekend’s Sony Ericsson Xperia Play unveiling. Regardless of how one might feel about the position Sony is attempting to secure in the portable gaming market, there are more ramifications that may not be present on the surface. [...]

Thursday, February 17th, 2011

So it turns out that NVIDIA roadmap we saw last month was as true and pure as driven snow. The barely conceivable quad-core Tegra chip that it listed has now been made official by none other than NVIDIA itself, with the company also informing us that the new silicon is already sampling out to prospective [...]
