Over the past year, we’ve seen a few variations of surface speakers which will convert a flat surface into a speaker. These devices work through vibration technology.
TuneBug Vibe is another example of such a speaker and by far, this is one of the nicer speaker designs available. TuneBug Vibe measures 2.5-inches in diameter and is compatible with most standard audio gadgets including PMP, MP3 players, mobile phones and laptops.
One of the interesting features of this family of Portable SurfaceSound Speakers is that the surface upon which the device resides will affect what the sound is like. So, if you want to play around a bit, you can play your favorite song while the device resides on different surfaces, just to see what variances occur.
The TuneBug Vibe retails for $65.
