Possibly the world’s smallest digicam
Tuesday, May 11th, 2010
The miniaturization of point-and-shoots sparked a frenzy among camera manufacturers a few years ago, with companies pitting against each other to see which one could dish out the smallest digicam. Well, I think we have a clear winner today.
The Chobi Mini Digital Camera measures just 44 x 29 x 12mm and weighs a featherlight 14g. Despite its petite structure, this snapper boasts functions that put it almost on par with cameras from big brands. The Chobi point-and-shoot captures images at 2,048 x 1,536 pixels and record videos at 1,280 x 960 resolution, which is considered high-definition by industry standards. Storage is in the form of microSDHC cards.
